Happy birthday. Although you are not here, you are always thought and talked about. Beth has your picture up in her room and shows everyone her grandads coin collection. Ellie continues to play football in your name, but still refuses to support Man United I’m afraid.
It’s still hard. The hole you left doesn’t seem to get smaller over time. I still get flashbacks - I still feel you around me all the time.
I guess that’s the burden we now have to carry of being able to have you in our lives.
